If you have heard of our Jalapeño, the Tortilla is just an open face version to protect your table or your gun when you set it down. When you shoot a lot and your gun gets hot, placing it down on your shooting bench can often lead to undesired results. We have melted many plastic folding tables or nylon webbing gear without thinking about it. This is why we created the tortilla. We adapted the technology used to move a hot Minigun to protect your gear. With the carbon felt liner, we could dump 3000 rounds in a minute or so, slip The felt lined Jalapeño over the barrel group, pull the gun off the mount and stow it right away.
If it works for the Minigun (M134D), it will work as a protective barrier on anything. The Tortilla lays flat and can be used on the cotton side to function as a work mat as well.
